I am a DBT BioCARe Scientist working in microbiome science.

My current project explores the gut microbiome of mothers and infants with infantile colic, an area that is still largely unexplored in India. By studying these microbial communities, I aim to understand why some infants develop colic and how the early-life microbiome influences gut health.

A major goal of my work is to translate these insights into developing safe, science-based probiotic solutions for infantile colic.

Alongside my research, I also support researchers and clinicians in designing microbiome studies and analyzing microbiome data, helping turn complex datasets into meaningful biological insights.
