Wolfgang Müller leads the Scientific Databases and Visualisation Group at HITS. He is Privatdozent at the Department for Business Informatics and Applied Informatics at the Universität Bamberg.
1996 he obtained a Diploma degree in physics at the University of Constance, with experimental work on soap foams at the CNRS Institute Charles Sadron at Strasbourg. He studied Computer Science in parallel at the FernUni Hagen. He obtained his diploma with a diploma thesis about data mining. 2001 he obtained ...
PhD research scientist and bioinformatician working across microbial ecology, plant–microbe interactions, microbiome research, metagenomics, transcriptomics, NGS, and reproducible scientific computing. I develop and apply bioinformatics workflows in Linux using R, Bash, Python, and domain-specific tools. My current methodological interests include agentic AI for scientific workflows, scientific evidence processing and RAG, reproducibility, and evaluation of AI-supported research workflows.
I am an MSc student in Agrobioinformatics at Justus Liebig University Giessen, with a background in Agricultural Sciences. My interests lie at the intersection of agriculture, bioinformatics, and computational biology, particularly in the application of data-driven approaches for understanding biological systems.I am developing skills in bioinformatics workflows, genomics, next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis, and computational methods for biological research. I am interested in learning ...
